Bronze
Bronze Sculpture My bronze sculptures are born from my paintings. I see each painting as an incubator—holding form, gesture, and presence until it is ready to move beyond the surface. What begins in two dimensions is carried into clay, where it is shaped by hand, and then into bronze, where it becomes fully physical—able to hold weight, light, and space. The work is rooted in simplified, faceless human forms. By removing identity, I create openness, allowing expression to live in posture, scale, and relationship rather than in specific features. This creates space for the viewer to enter the work and experience it in a personal way. Each sculpture grows from the figure. The form carries the life of the piece—holding gesture, emotion, and presence. Simple acts such as holding, gathering, and standing become a visual language, speaking to care, connection, solitude, and inner strength. My sculptural work extends directly from my paintings. Forms that once existed on the surface are given a physical body, becoming something that can be experienced in real space. Light and shadow move across the bronze, shifting the work as the viewer moves around it, reinforcing a sense of stillness and quiet presence. Simplicity, peace, harmony, and calm are central to my work. These are not just ideas, but ways of being that I carry into each piece. I am not telling a fixed story, but creating space—for pause, for reflection, and for a deeper connection to what is often unseen but deeply felt. Each piece is intended to create a moment of pause—an experience of stillness within space Select works available upon inquiry
